Facebook = Fucktard Heaven

I just happened to stumble upon this Facebook page -

For those that don't know, here is an article with details of the case. Basically, someone contaminated saline with insulin in a hospital and 5 patients have died. Rebecca Leighton is a nurse at the hospital and is being questioned. Questioned. She has not yet been charged (as of 9:42 am on 22nd July 2011).

So some clever little soul has decided to set up the above Facebook page calling her a "Murdering Whore". The tag line is "This woman must've done something wrong to get arrested in the first place!!!"

What a fucking moron.

So there is no such thing as innocent until proven guilty any longer.

Wonderful.

Now I am not saying she is innocent. I am also not saying she is guilty. I have not seen the evidence so I cannot judge. No one else should either.

What gives this little Facebook troll the right to post such crap about her?

I bet he's the sort of weirdo that gets a stiffy every time he reads about a rape victim being stoned to death in Iran.

Again, she may be guilty but how many people are questioned and then are not charged? The British legal system is not perfect.

(Though I can GUARANTEE that is she is charged and it goes to trial, the lawyers will argue Münchhausen Syndrome by Proxy and she'll spend the rest of her days in a secure hospital.)

We simply cannot allow trial by Facebook. What next? Cut off the hands of suspected thieves?
